Trial terms

These terms are for beta listings: the few people who try Rentasel for free while we build it. Rentasel is a pre-commercial project in development by Juan Manuel Valverde García (Málaga, Spain; info@rentasel.com). Nothing is charged and no product or service is sold today.

1. What the trial is

Rentasel watches the market in your area and recommends prices for your property. During the trial you use what already works and tell us what helps and what does not. It is a tool in development: it may fail, change or lose a feature.

2. What you get

• Free access to the app (app.rentasel.io) and to the reports and alerts available at any time.
• Priority when Rentasel launches.
• A founder offer (section 6).

3. What we ask

• An active listing of your property on Booking or Airbnb, on the Costa del Sol.
• That you state the property holds a valid holiday rental licence. We do not ask for the document.
• The calendar link (iCal) of your listing, ideally the Booking one: it only shows which days are booked or free. It tells us which nights you have already sold and whether the advice works.
• A short call at the start and another at the end, to hear your opinion.

You do not have to open the app every week or follow any advice.

How we choose: places are limited, and applying or meeting the requirements does not give you a right to join. We choose among the applications, looking for properties that differ from each other, and we are not obliged to accept any. If you are not selected, we will let you know.

4. Free and no commitment

The trial costs you nothing. Finishing it does not oblige you to sign up for anything afterwards.

5. You decide your prices

Rentasel recommends; it does not change your prices or manage your bookings. Recommendations are guidance based on market data that may be incomplete or wrong. They are not professional advice (tax, legal or financial) and we do not guarantee any result: neither more bookings nor more income. Any price you set is your decision.

6. Founder offer

If Rentasel launches, before charging you anything we will make you a written founder offer that will never be worse than the best public offer at that time. Today it is an intention, not a fixed price: no amount or duration is set. Accepting it is up to you.

7. Leaving the trial

You can leave the trial at any time by writing to info@rentasel.com, with no explanation needed. We can also end it by letting you know by email; for example, if the project stops or changes. When you leave, your data is deleted within the periods set in the privacy policy.

8. No exclusivity

You may use other tools or advisers at the same time. We may also offer the trial to other people, including in your area.

9. Your data

Which data we process (email, listing link, calendar and what you enter in the app), why, where it is stored, for how long and how to have it deleted: privacy policy, section 11. We only use the calendar with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

10. Acceptance and changes

You accept these terms in writing, by ticking the box or replying to our email, and we keep the date and the version you accepted. If they change, we will send you the new version before it applies. If you disagree, you can leave as described in section 7.
