How to install the Rentasel dashboard on your phone

The Rentasel dashboard can be used like an app: an icon on your phone’s home screen that opens it full screen. No app store, no cost, and it takes under a minute from your browser.

Before you start

Open the dashboard in your phone’s browser (Safari on iPhone and iPad, Chrome on Android) at app.rentasel.io, or from the link we emailed you. If you open the link from your email app, it may open in a built-in browser: tap “Open in Safari” or “Open in Chrome” before you continue.

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

1. Open the dashboard in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom on iPhone or the top on iPad).
3. Scroll down the menu and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
4. If you like, change the name and tap “Add”.

The Rentasel icon now sits with your other apps.

Android (Chrome)

1. Open the dashboard in Chrome.
2. Tap the ⋮ menu (three dots, top right).
3. Tap “Install app” or, if you don’t see it, “Add to Home screen”.
4. Confirm with “Install” or “Add”.

The icon will appear on your home screen or in your app list.

How to sign in

Tap the Rentasel icon. The first time, sign in with the link we emailed you; if you can’t find it, request it again at app.rentasel.io. After that, your phone will remember your session and you’ll just tap the icon.

If the option doesn’t show up

• On iPhone, use Safari. From another app’s built-in browser (email, WhatsApp, Instagram) the button doesn’t appear.
• On Android, use Chrome and make sure it’s up to date. If “Install app” isn’t there, try “Add to Home screen”.
• Private browsing: leave incognito or private mode and open the dashboard again.
• Already installed: look for the Rentasel icon on your phone; if it’s there, you’re done.
• Still nothing: no problem, you can bookmark app.rentasel.io and it works just the same. You can also email us at info@rentasel.com.
